Authenticity

ARCHIVE specialises in vintage furniture and objects sourced from established markets,
private collections, and seasoned dealers across the world. Each piece is selected
through a considered process informed by material knowledge, historical reference, and
professional expertise.

All works are assessed and authenticated to the best of our knowledge at the time of
acquisition. Given the age and provenance of vintage pieces, original documentation is
not always available. Authentication is therefore based on stylistic analysis, construction
methods, materials, period consistency, and confirmation from trusted specialist dealers.
Where a piece is attributed to, or described as “possibly” or “believed to be” by a
particular designer or maker, this reflects a professional assessment that the work is
consistent with the known output of that designer during a specific period. Such
attributions are made in good faith and should be understood as informed opinions
rather than definitive guarantees.

ARCHIVE does not claim formal certification or archival authentication unless explicitly
stated. Variations in attribution are inherent to the vintage market and form part of its
scholarly and collectible nature.

We encourage clients to view each piece through the lens of craftsmanship, integrity,
